Reynaldo Hahn is remembered chiefly for his art songs, which were performed in the famous musical salons of Paris, but his output was in fact much broader: his vast œuvre, encompassing instrumental works as well as vocal ones, includes many different genres.

Reynaldo Hahn had an infallible flair for lyricism and, especially, a wonderful gift for melody that makes his music immediately identifiable.
